Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs- 5: 21

Proverbs 5:21, “For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.”

Have you ever watched a child reach for the forbidden item when they thought you were not looking? When you speak their name they often flinch, hide or run because they’ve been caught in sin. We have a tendency to do the same with God, but God sees our heart intent even before we complete the act. He loves us as a father and begins speaking His Word to us through the Holy Spirit, but often times, we ignore the warning and we press harder to accomplish or take that which we are not entitled. But God, is watching, and even though we may classify it as “not really sinning” or “just a little sin” it is still what it is , it is a direct act of our will over God’s and it is demeaning to our relationship with Him and can lead to a broken relationship. We are told in James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” God is ready to protect, equip and restore His people; if we will submit our wills to Him. Where sin is concerned, there is never a compromise with God, in fact, He says he hates sin; yet, He is ready to forgive your sin and mine when we come before him and humble ourselves and repent of the wrongdoing.
