Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs

Typically, A Moment in Proverbs is written by my mother, Connie J. Renfro. From time to time I step in and share when she is not available. We have been reading the book of Proverbs along with our daily Bible reading, everyday for the last 19 years. The children once asked me, "Momma how many times do you think you've read the book of Proverbs?" After a little number crunching the answer was approximately 228 times give or take a few. You want to know something? Each day when I read the chapter for the day it offers me nourishment. Never, have I ever read a chapter and thought, "Oh, I already know this I should move on!" His Word is living pasture for His Sheep! Each time we come and feast on His Word we find food for our Soul... every time! I encourage you to read the Word on a daily basis and see how your life is transformed by the power of His Word!

If you would like to receive your Moment in Proverbs right to your inbox feel free to send an email to my mother, Connie, who will add you to her distribution list. That email list is normally the same devotion shared on the blog. Sometimes it includes a prayer request or a personal update that you won't find on the blog but it will NEVER contain spam! You can share your email with momma with confidence knowing that all emails are sent out as BCC to protect your privacy. We never sell, rent, borrow, barter or give your personal information to others without your permission first!

To be added to the daily devotion list simply email your request to: Connie Renfro at: caconnie (at) comcast (dot) net Make sure you type it correctly with the periods and at sign instead of the words like I did here. I have only written it this way to prevent spam emails.

May your soul hunger and thirst after Him and may you be satisfied when you seek Him with all your heart!
With much love,
Mrs. Joseph Wood
