Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs- Proverbs 8:11

Proverbs 8: 11

”For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.”

As we go about our busy lives, we often fall into the snares of believing the world over believing wisdom.  We grasp at the things that call us to seek after their wisdom but when we give into those temptations we find empty ruins.  Even if we find success, fame, or riches; they do not compare to the wisdom of God’s Word.

We are reminded in Hebrews that the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  If we trust and seek the wisdom of His Word, we will find more than satisfaction; we will find life!

Seek wisdom this day and you will find that nothing can compare to the blessings you will receive.

  1. Yes! Yes! Yes! This is SO true!!!! I have been breathing deeply of the wisdom of God's Word over the last week and am filled to overflowing with His amazing love and am being pruned and changed by His wisdom. And I am truly blessed. Its a great feeling getting back on track with my time in the Word. My soul is drinking its fill and constantly desiring more.
