Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs- Proverbs 4:26

Pro 4:26: “Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.”

Have you ever found yourself running late to an appointment and you run out the door and forget your keys to the car; you back out of the driveway and can’t remember if you turned off the iron or unplugged the coffee pot; or you get down the road and wonder if you locked the door or closed the garage? I’ve found myself in this predicament as I busied myself with other things and did not set a course for myself early in the day.

We can take this lesson and learn from this passage to consider the path we’re going to take, and let all our ways be established. When we enlist the Wisdom from His Word, we are placing His plans to our path and where we walk we find sure footing. Instead of finding ourselves in a moment of panic when we are faced with sharing His Word with others, we can rest and know that we’ve prepared, we’ve considered our path before Him and He will establish our footsteps.

Consider this day; what direction does our LORD want us to take and who will He bring into our path to minister to? Know this, if you have placed His Word upon your heart, you will not be found wanting. He will equip you and you will be encouraged as you serve Him.

Abiding Still
