Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs- Proverbs 29:18

Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

Do we see things as God sees them; do we see the opportunities to serve Him? What is our perspective? Are we living and walking in wisdom; do we value His law? We are called to be a people with purpose! We are not here by mistake or happenstance; God has a plan for each of us. Do you know your purpose?

Without a vision; without hope; without direction; you will perish…but those who abide in Him will find purpose! We must be at the Heart of His Word; taking it in daily and sharing it with those who will hear. His Word is our vision, it provides us hope for our eternity through Christ, it reveals our sin and leads us to repentance; it points us to living a daily holy life; it speaks truth and dispels the lies of the world.

Living His Word is our vision, without it we will perish.

There is no greater joy than knowing God and we cannot know God without abiding in His Word. Go to Him this day and seek His vision for your life.

Abiding Still

  1. "His Word is our vision". Amen - I love this! There are times I struggle with the fact that I don't know where I'm headed blogging wise...I have no real vision (while other women seem to have a "plan") - I am simply offering up my service to God for his use today. But I do have a vision - his word! It is my vision! And the rest is up to him! Thank you!
    Love you,
