Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs- Proverbs 19:21

Proverbs 19: 21 "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails"

Today, an excerpt from a book of poems, thoughts and scripture the Lord placed on my heart 35 years ago (currently being published).

Did you hear Him say I love you, as you went about your day? Did you listen for His call in His soft and gentle way? Did you find Him there before you as you set your daily course? Did you feel His strength surge through you as you sought Him as your source? Did you take the time to tell someone of this love that's yours and mine? Did you offer a prayer for others as you've done at other times? Did you know that Jesus loves you, no matter what your case? He offers us forgiveness as we turn from sin to grace.

Will you listen once again tomorrow as the new day begins? Will you take the time to open your heart and let our sweet Lord in?

How did you start today? Was it hurried? It's not too late to take time away from the busy life and come before our King. He has a work for you today, and you want to be ready for the course lying ahead. Remember to watch for those who need His love and offer the free gift to all who will receive.

Abiding Still
