Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment In Proverbs: Proverbs 8;17

Proverbs 8:17,
“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”

Christ said, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”(John 14:21).  The benefits of loving God’s Word and the wisdom found within is that we have this promise that He loves us!

Isaiah 55:6 and James 1:5 remind us that seeking God will not be in vain, for those who seek after Him and His wisdom will find Him. Remember that all we need to do is ask Him and He will be faithful to reveal Himself to us.

In all matters of life we can turn to the treasures of wisdom and knowledge through God’s Word and we will find the redemption of Christ for our salvation, we will find the riches of His grace abounding toward us and we will find a faithful God who loves us beyond what we are capable of understanding.

Prayer:  Father, we are your children.  We long for you and seek your leading where ever we journey this day.  Your power is too great for us to understand and your unfailing love is better than life itself. We praise you for your abundant love so freely given.  LORD you have promised those who seek you that we will find you and as we use the hands, minds and hearts you have given us, help us to spread your message to others who are seeking and not knowing what they are seeking.  Help us to turn them to you so that they too will find you and your gift of eternal life through Jesus.  In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

Abiding Still,
