Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs: Proverbs 4:26 Weighing Decisions

Proverbs 4:26, “Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.”

Many of you are familiar with the scales of justice; she stands with a scale in her hand and justice is weighed. But I ask you to weigh your decisions much like the scales of justice, place before God your thoughts, your plans and your actions. Weigh them with His Word and determine the path you are going and see if it is right. Let us remember James as he spoke of those who are double minded; we are warned that we become unstable in all of our ways if we do not walk in faith. So as you establish your ways before the Lord be confident to step out and do what He is leading you to do. Be of good courage as you serve Him and know that He does not call without equipping you. God’s Word is full of wisdom and he will lead you as you place your life before Him.

Abiding Still,
