Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs- Proverbs 20:24

Proverbs 20:24 “Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?”

Since the LORD directs our steps why do we try to understand everything along the way? Isaiah 55:8-0 reminds us that God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, and our ways are not His ways. But often we find ourselves trying to impose our thoughts and our devices upon God’s plan for our lives. We give worry to tomorrow or next week or a year from now, setting a course that we have not taken to the LORD to determine if this is the course He would have us follow or not. Let us remember that He has our best interest at heart; we are so very special to Him that He gave His precious Son to ransom us. Let us allow Him to direct our steps this day and the days ahead. Rest in Him.
