Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in M.O.M.'s Kitchen- Dr. Cinnamon Tea

This last weekend we enjoyed drying our organic orange peels. I will use them to make a batch of my Dr. Cinnamon tea when I run out of the batch I already have. I was asked on Facebook for the directions so I thought I would just post it here for everyone to see. Do you have a favorite herbal tea recipe? I would love to hear if so. Maybe we could add it to our collection of Wood family favorites too!

Have a wonderful weekend ladies!

Dr. Cinnamon Tea
1/2 part dried orange peels
1/2 part dried apples
1 part cinnamon
1 part Ginko
2 parts Green Tea
4 parts Red Raspberry

Combine all the ingredients  together and mix. I like to put mine in a coffee filter and run through the coffee pot. My coffee pot does 12 cups so I put 1 cup of the blend per coffee pot. We enjoy putting a whole cinnamon stick in each cup to decorate it before serving. This is truly a lovely tea!!

Remember that a part can be anything. A part can be a cup, a bowl, a Tbs.. whatever you wish. It just needs to be the same measurement you use for all the ingredients and then give each the required parts. For example, if I was using a measuring cup it would be 1 cup Red Raspberry to 1/8 cup of dried orange peals.
If you have questions just let me know. I would love to hear how you enjoy it!
