Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in M.O.M.'s Kitchen- Poppa Joe's Popcorn!

This is a family recipe that my Joe makes for us at special family events or special 'just because' moments. I am surprised that after so many years of keeping it 'top secret' he is sharing with all of us. He has only requested royalties (a generous handful) each time anyone makes a batch. Too cute!!

Poppa Joe's Popcorn
24 cups of popped popcorn. (I normally clean the popcorn of any seeds and of course I make it using our coconut oil)

The following measurements are approximates:
3 Cubes of Butter
4 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Cup (at least) of Maple Syrup
1 tsp. Maple Flavoring
1 tsp. Vanilla Flavoring
3/4 tsp. salt

In a pan melt 3 cubes of butter. Once butter is melted add brown sugar, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil. Then add remaining ingredients and cook approximately 10min. Then pour over popcorn and stir. NOTE: Be careful, it is very hot so this isn't a project that little children should be helping with.

Enjoy!
Mrs. Joseph Wood
