Proverbs 20: 23
Divers weights are an abomination unto the Lord; and a false balance is not good.
I won’t ever forget the children’s shock when they discovered that some companies had put water in their bacon and not told the consumer. They instantly recalled this verse and began asking me an assortment of questions. Children must be taught that while we don’t live in a ‘fair’ world we are required to conduct our affairs with Righteousness. Share with your children the divers’ weights and false balances in our society. Be an example of doing what is right based of the Word of God and His standard not on what ‘man’ deems acceptable.
