Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs- Proverbs 7:3 Remembering His Word

Proverbs 7:3, “Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.”

We end this week the same way we began this week; remembering to place His Word in our hearts. The instructions given us are for our instruction in righteousness. But we must place His Word in our hearts, we cannot expect to have the wisdom or knowledge needed to face our adversary if we do not pick up the tools we have been given and learn to use them in times of facing our trials. It is not enough to learn only but to apply the things we’ve learned, so I encourage you this day that you should not be as a child any longer, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive you. Your hearts must be grounded in His Word and established in grace. We should continue in the things we have learned, turn from our erroneous ways and continue in the things which we have learned and assured of through His Word. (Read: 2 Timothy 3:15; John 8:31; Ephesians 4:14; and Hebrews 13:9)

Abiding Still,
