Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment with M.O.M- Friday Fun Freebie!

It’s Friday Friends! That’s the day that we’ve decided to make our, “FUN FRIDAY FREEBIE” giveaway day! Each Friday this month I will be sharing a resource that has been graciously given to us so that we can pass it along to YOU- our readers!!

Today’s resource is new to me. In fact, it was by one of our readers that I found this site. THANK YOU for sharing with me too! I always appreciate hearing from each of you!

Let me introduce you to Scripture Adventure… productsbuttonx150x150

Scripture Adventures has a wealth of resources Biblically based with fun, creative, and engaging activities. I downloaded the Thanksgiving package they offered last month and was pleasantly surprised to see ALL my children spend hours enjoying the projects and information presented. It’s rare that everyone in the house is so engaged in the same project and loving every moment of it! I am eager to try more Scripture Adventures with my family and delighted that I get to share them with you too! In fact, Rochelle over at Scripture Adventures has given me permission to give away not one, but THREE copies of their Discover Christmas download!!! Here’s what they have to say about it on their site:

"A Christmas Adventure" is waiting for your family
Christmas for KidsNewly updated for 2010, "A Christmas Adventure" will take your family on an adventure through the symbols and customs of Christmas, teaching you the meaning behind the symbols to help you focus your celebration on Christ. Each day from December 1-25, discover the story behind our holiday customs and how it relates to the birth of Christ. You'll even learn about customs of the early pioneer children in America and the Christmas traditions of children from other countries. Find recipes to make their traditional Christmas treats!

What did pioneer children eat for Christmas dinner? Why do we put lights on our Christmas trees? How did Queen Victoria make the Christmas tree popular? Who published the first commercial Christmas cards? Who was St. Nicholas, and what is his legacy? What are gold, frankincense, and myrrh? How did the Mexican poinsettia become a Christmas flower? What does the Bible say about doves, chickens, and sparrow--and what does that have to do with Christmas? Find out in "A Christmas Adventure."

This 93 page downloadable resource contains stories, memory verses, recipes, crafts, hands-on projects, service ideas, and hand-made gifts that just may help you create new Christmas traditions for your family. Best of all, it's only $7.99, making it affordable to every family! (site liscense for homeschool groups, Sunday Schools, or private Christian school groups available).

  7. We've been trying to read a scripture passage with Joel every night after dinner for the Advent season. I've never done family devotions before, so it's pretty neat. This sounds like a wonderful reason! I'd love to be entered for the drawing!
