Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment in Proverbs- 2:

Proverbs 2: 6, “For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

What do you perceive as the meaning to “seek”? The dictionary says it is a word of action. To seek we inquire about and we search; and our goal is to obtain! God’s word tells us in Psalms 70:4 that all who seek the LORD will rejoice! But it also says Let God be magnified! That’s the goal we’re seeking to obtain, to Let God be magnified. When we set our sights on seeking knowledge and understanding from the LORD’s Word, we learn more of His image and His purpose for our lives. It is He who gives us wisdom; it’s not something we can make up on our own. If we depend on Him and seek after Him, He is faithful to give; all we need to do is ask for wisdom and it will be provided as we abide in His Word. And as we live out our lives in Wisdom, He is glorified.
