Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.

A Moment with M.O.M.- Going on a blogging Vacation

Hello Friends!
The Wood family has been as busy as bees preparing for guests to arrive and gathering the harvest of Summer. We have been abundantly blessed with tomatoes, corn, green beans and pasture raised meat to put away in the freezer. As I write this note, the children continue to crack walnuts off the back porch that we will put away for future use. The barn is getting ready for winter as well; plenty of feed for winter has been gathered from the fields and our animals are gearing up for breeding season. Dried Red Raspberry leaves have been added to their diets as well as ACV to their water. The bee hives have been checked on and are doing quite well! Fresh Ground whole wheat was taken to them as a treat today. Timothy enjoyed watching them roll in the wheat and then return to their hive with flour covered bodies.

The Lord continues to bless us with an abundance of grace and mercy! We continue to grow and learn from Him. His faithfulness and love endure forever!

We will continue to take a break from blogging and answering email questions while we prepare for family and friends arrival in KS. My parents are on the road and heading to KS at this very moment (I just talked to Momma and she said they are exactly 21 hours away). We expect their arrival late Sunday night after we return from a day of fun with friends at Worlds of Fun. Momma and Daddy will stay with us through October 4th. While they are here, we will be putting up a new fence and doing other property projects, celebrating birthdays, and harvesting more food from the garden. We are looking forward to our traditional 'girls day' trip. This year our travels will take us to Branson Mo. with our Bible Study being on 1 Cor. ch. 13. One of my favorite anticipations will be the children's baptism. Joe and my father will be baptizing several of the children at the end of this month! As you can read, this is a very exciting time for our family. We look forward to sharing these events with family and friends. We have our Jones Friends that are traveling from TX to witness and celebrate the baptism with us. The children have been counting down the days as we are eager for all the friendship visits and special conversations that will take place! This type of busy activity doesn't take place very often in the Wood household and is quite treasured! We look forward to sharing photos and real life moments with you as well as answering emails after the first part of October.

We pray that your hearts are steadfast fixed on Him, that your homes are filled with His grace and that you awake each morning recognizing His tender mercies!
With much love,

Mrs. Joseph Wood
