My children are not crazy about whole wheat pancakes but I do try to sneak in a cup or two of whole wheat into this recipe and it doesn't seem to be a problem. Eating healthy is really a transformation of the taste buds isn't it? I have found that making 'baby steps' in this journey is the most successful for our family!
Enjoy!
Good Morning Pancakes!
9 Cups of flour
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1/3 Cup of Baking Powder
4 tsp. Salt
6 Farm fresh eggs
6 cups of raw farm milk
Mix dry ingredients first then add the eggs and milk. These make nice, thick pancakes and freeze nicely. We add a Tbs of coconut oil to the recipe when making waffles. We also enjoy mixing 1-2 cups of fruit we may have on hand into the recipe. We gently stir the fruit in at the end of the recipe making process right before we begin cooking. Peaches, blueberries, strawberries and raisins are some of our favorites!
*NOTE: The photo shared is from a Google free search not the actual photo of the pancakes we bake.
Have a beautiful day in your homes ladies,
Mrs. Joseph Wood
